Support for Tiger™: Spotlight™, Core Image und Quartz® Composer
Picture Arena supports the latest technologies in Mac OS® X Tiger™. Support for Core Image has been added directly into the core of Picture Arena's own effect subsystem, Spotlight's saved searches can be used like any other directory and the brandnew Quartz® Composer Format can now be read and viewed as well. Only available under Tiger are the new effects zoom blur, noise removal, sharpen and edge work. Of course, Picture Arena keeps working fine under Mac OS® X Panther 10.3 nonetheless.

Support for RAW, Adobe® DNG and reworked digicam import
Picture Arena does now support the RAW files of more than 150 cameras. You can find a list of these cameras here. On popular request the reworked digicam import can now also transfer your photos directly into any directory of your choice (screenshot).

Send via Mail
With version 1.2, it has become easier than ever before to send emails with photo attachments. Pick a size, optionally add an effect recipe or rename the files - with ease, non-permanent and on the fly. (screenshot)
